The BCCI Naman Awards 2026, the annual awards ceremony organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was held on March 15, 2026, in New Delhi to celebrate outstanding achievements in Indian cricket. The event honours players, coaches, and teams who delivered exceptional performances during the 2024–25 cricket season at both international and domestic levels.
This year’s ceremony was particularly special because it celebrated what many described as a “golden phase” for Indian cricket. During the event, the BCCI felicitated five Indian teams that recently won ICC trophies, including the men’s team that won the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, the Champions Trophy 2025, the women’s ODI World Cup 2025, and the Under-19 men’s and women’s World Cup teams. This recognition highlighted India’s remarkable success across different formats and age groups in world cricket.
Several top cricketers also received individual honours at the ceremony. Shubman Gill was named Best International Cricketer in the men’s category, while Smriti Mandhana received the award for Best International Women’s Cricketer for their outstanding performances in international matches. Their achievements during the season played a key role in strengthening India’s dominance in world cricket.
